The Story
As a young African-American boy growing up in North Philly, Robert Williams thought the only two simple paths to success were to become an athlete or an entertainer. Transferring to SCH and taking classes in the school’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) opened his eyes to a different path. Robert described it as “like walking into Narnia—I went into a whole different world.”
For his CEL project (and first official business), Robert developed his own clothing line named REINE (Rare. Eminence. Ignites. New. Excellence.) with a mission to show urban youth that they can achieve success in other areas by pursuing careers in the arts, entrepreneurship, activism, education, medicine, and beyond.
Now, Robert is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, continuing to build his business knowledge while growing REINE into a brand that transcends clothing. He also co-founded a creative collective with like-minded individuals—visionaries committed to shifting culture, creating access, and leading with purpose.
But the story doesn’t stop here. This is only the beginning. REINE isn’t just about what you wear—it's about who you dare to become.
